Wildflower Redux
My camera got a real workout last Sunday. On the same day as my naked rampage I also ventured outside. After I put my clothes back on. Check it out.
As soon as I stepped outside I heard the sound of this hot air balloon firing its burner. This picture is from my front porch.

No way-from your porch?! Wowie. I'm glad you got dressed and got to take these pics. I really love to see those balloons.
How very cool that you can see all those balloons from your house! Is there a hot air balloon launching pad near your house or something? Have you ever gone up?
I thought the pink ones were primroses too! Hmmm...and I am terribly jealous of all your balloon sightings. At most we'll get 2-3 flying overhead but nothing like your gaggle. Camera workouts keep one sane; good stuff!

anna - that's the most I have ever seen at one time from my house, usually I only see one or maybe two. I have seen them launched nearby a couple of times, but there's no official launch area. There are just some easily accessible fields nearby. I saw 3 being launched the last time I was heading for school on a Saturday. I wish I would have had my camera and time to take pictures that day. I haven't gone up but I definitely want to!
Anne - You're right, the pink ones are primroses too. I'll update my captions. And that's by far the most balloons I have seen at one time around here.
