What's Up Doc?
On the Saturday before school started I was lounging around in my backyard. Had a few visitors.

This was almost the coolest picture EVER!
OK, these two photos aren't the greatest, but this little booger wouldn't cooperate. I was very excited though, because this is a painted bunting. I think they're the prettiest bird in the U.S. See a much better photo here. Or here.

I can't believe that bird lives in Texas! It's so colorful. Almost looks like a parrot. That shows you just how much I know about birds.
I grew up in Virginia - there are tons of cardinals there - and yet in the 15 years I lived there I never realized that girl cardinals aren't red. Or interesting-looking in the slightest. Huh.
What are you Snow White and all the woodland creatures venture out to see you? Cool pics and I can only hope that you were clothed.
Oh - you bastid!! I think you posted cardinal pics just to taunt me. I still can't get a pic of the fat one in our backyard. Faith just pointed him out this morning, and as usual, he immediately took off.

I'm envious that you have painted buntings. Photos I've seen of them are so cool, but I've never seen one in person. We have some indigo buntings around here, but they're very subdued.
I freaking love Cardinals and I would love to see a baby one, sigh. I'm always running outside when I hear their cry, but never am able to capture them. Cool shots, especially rabbit foo foo.

How sweet! I love the bunnies, it kinda reminds me of how we used to chase bunnies on a Danish island when we were kids.
