It's Puzzling
Today I did something that I haven't done in years. I started working on a jigsaw puzzle. My cousins gave me this puzzle about 4 years ago for Christmas. It has been sitting on my floor ever since. I've been wanting to work on it for a long time, and today I was doing some cleaning so I figured it was time to get it off of the floor. As you can see I haven't made much progress so far. Oh well, if it waited 4 years what's a little more time?

That looks like a fun one! J and I were on a big jigsaw puzzle kick for a while last winter, but we put them away for summer. I was just thinking the other day that it might be about time to get one back out and start a new one though, now that colder weather is chasing us back inside.
we have oodles of puzzles--unopened--in every closet in our house. ian loves working them. and i think he's worked one or two in the dozen years i've lived with him. and he buys more. it's not like we have a clear surface for him to work them on. but.... it is a great, old-fashioned form of entertainment. can't wait to see yours when you finish it. are you timing yourself?
Wow,my eyes hurt just looking at those pictures! Will you glue the puzzle and frame it once its all together?
Deb - C'mon Deb, you know you wanna!
r - I forgot to time myself yesterday but after I started I thought that would be fun. I think I'll time myself from here on out and add the approximate time I spent Sunday.
b - nah, I'll probably just take a picture and then disassemble it. That way when I'm 70 I can work it again!
I started a huge Charlie Chaplin puzzle last Christmas...moving made me stop...but I plan to pick it up again around Christmas!
Oh I love puzzles!!! I can spend hours and days on the floor trying to figure it out. I'm a tad OCD when it comes to puzzling, and since it usually keeps me from doing anything else at all (and I mean that!) I haven't done one in a long time. :)
dag nabbit-this darn internets. I made a very funny comment and now I forgot it. It had something to do with having Christopher Lee staring at me. my brain hurts. And yes I love puzzles too.
