For those so inclined, Arrested Development is on tomorrow night. This may be the last chance to see this episode before the DVDs come out, so get those VCRs/Tivos/eyeballs ready! I know that Holli mentioned that she saw on the news that the show may be in the process of getting picked up by some other network. I hope it's true. I've been trying to find some reference to this on the web somewhere, and the only thing I have been able to find was on the message boards at the AD site. This transcript is supposedly from an interview on CNN:

ANDERSON: And from movies to television. As we mentioned, you were behind "Arrested Development, " one of the most critically acclaimed TV shows out there, won an Emmy for best comedy. And then, Brian, it gets cancelled. How do you make sense of that?
GRAZER: I don't know. It's -- it's just the art form itself, maybe. I don't know. There's some sort of food chain. But I think we'll get it picked up by some other network, possibly. You never know.
But going back to your original question, it's hard to know, you know, how the life of a series or a movie can -- can go. So have hope that it will stay on the air.
ANDERSON: Well, is that in the works, moving to, possibly, another network, another home?
GRAZER: It's -- yes. It's in the works. I'm hoping it's in the works.
ANDERSON: What can you tell us about that?
GRAZER: I can't tell you anything other than I'm hoping it works out in the way that we want it to. But I'm optimistic, Brooke.
ANDERSON: Well, I didn't mean to put you on the spot there.
GRAZER: That's OK.

I can't decide if I love Anderson Cooper or if I think he is a strange little bird...

I hope another network picks up Arrested Development and gives it the attention in deserves. I guess Fox was too busy promoting Stacked.

I heard that Brian Grazer thing too. I'm really hoping it gets picked up. I had my dad get season I & II for me as my holiday present. That and Shaun of the Dead.
JC, I'll let you know how Capote is. I read In Cold Blood years and years ago, but it was just as incredible the 2nd time around. Definitely one of my most favorite books.
I had always heard that AD was unlikely to get picked up by someone else because:
1. None of the other broadcast networks want a show that only has 4 million viewers, so it would have to be a cable network
2. The show is too expensive for most cable networks, with the possible exception of HBO, but HBO takes pride in developing their own shows and wouldn't take someone else's castoff. I'm not sure why the show is so expensive, it doesn't really have any 'big name' stars. Maybe because the cast is so large?
Anyway, I hope it works out!

My interview is at 3 this afternoon. I'm kind of in last minute freak out mode at this point. I'll try to post about it afterward.
I was all excited when I turned on the TV last night to se what my TiVo was recording and saw that it was Arrested Development. I am already in mourning at the loss of it. I'm like Louis, annoyed that "Stacked" gets money put into it and not AD!
