Date Night

I have a date tonight. And it's not with Mabel. Ugh. I really don't want to go, but I guess it's too late to back out now. This was a girl that I met online back in June. She basically stopped writing me from about mid-July to mid-August, when she finally sent me another message. So chronologically she came before Mabel, but then I met Mabel during the one month no-communication phase. However, I probably wouldn't be doing this if Mabel was more available. I didn't bother to ask Mabel out last weekend, I just sent her a note saying that I hoped everything was going OK. She sent me a note back on Monday saying that she was going out of town this weekend but would like to do something next weekend. We shall see. So, I guess I'm not all that enthused about tonight, but I'll have to fight my way through it.
