Flora of Denton
In my Monday post I remarked about some of the fauna of Denton, Texas. Today I bring you some of the flora. Incidentally, there was a really wheels-off criminal situation that partially took place in Denton yesterday.

Hey - I just put pics on my flickr account (although they are amazingly CRAPPY) with my cell phone - Faith LOVES the white TWEES!!!!! I've nearly wrecked the car on several occasions because of her gasping. It freaks me out.

Really - really beautiful shots. We call these trees Bradford Pears in Maryland. They won't bloom for another few weeks. But, they are my very favorite.
You have one nice camera! The shots are so good!
Looking at those photos makes me feel like your spring is about 3 months ahead of ours instead of just a few weeks! (wistful sigh)

THE Denton, TX? wow. love all that stuff blooming everywhere.
Those white trees are really great and the purple pansies are fantastic as well.....love the macro!
These pics are awesome! It was mid-March when I went to Denton for the first time, and I remember that it looked as nice as in the pictures! Has it gotten really warm in Tx yet?
