All Hail...The Mantis!
Today was better than yesterday. Which is good, because if it wasn't I'd probably be dead. Yeah, I know I'm being overly dramatic.
I saw this praying mantis when I went out to water my garden this evening. Gotta love the mantis.

I think they are the most amazing insects. Walking sticks. Have you ever picked up one, though? The little bastards hurt you! Yes, I wanted to hold one. Obviously it was not interested in MY wants. Don't know if it bit me or pinched me, but it hurt...and it would not let go. ::shiver::
